Since returning from Ireland, we discovered that Hugh's oldest daughter Ellen emigrated to the US in 1866 and lived in New Jersey. Rich and Wendy visited the New Jersey State Archives in Trenton to solidify the connection with our family. They then visited some sites in Newark where Ellen and her husband Joseph Glass lived and worked. Check out her story at
hughmckenna.org.
